Snow hits Somerset!
The first weekend in March certainly brought most of England, and Somerset, to a halt. Snow hit Somerset on Thursday 2nd March. This was very exciting for most and perhaps a little annoying for many, trying to get to work and those couples who chose the first weekend of March to get married. Wedding couple, Becky and James, were frantically running around on Friday as the wedding band they had booked for their wedding the next day, had phoned them to say they were not going to be able to get to their wedding, at Coombe Lodge for the Saturday.
Somerset wedding band comes to the rescue!
However, with a little help from James's sister on Friday evening, they were able to make contact with Richer Music. Richer Music was desperately trying to help as in less than 24 hours, they were to be married and expecting a wedding band. So...'The Stereo Jacks', a Somerset wedding band, saved the day and confirmed they would do everything possible to get to their wedding venue the next day so that this wedding couple would have their dream of having a wedding band play for their evening reception.
The big day- snow all around.
Finally, with some careful driving, leaving to get to the venue in plenty of time, and with a shovel in hand, this Somerset wedding band arrived and partied all night. "Rich, thank you so much to you and the guys for what you did for us tonight. It was above all our expectations. We really struck gold and wish we'd known about you in the first place. Thank you so much." Becky and James, Saturday 3rd March, 2018.
Richer Music was just pleased that they could help. If you are looking for a Somerset wedding band that will entertain, are reliable and will play, even when the country has come to a standstill, then don't delay! Give us a call!
